Carson: Interesting Dems Even Say 'ISIS,' Since the 'I' Is for 'Islamic'
On "Hannity" tonight, Republican presidential contender Dr. Ben Carson slammed President Obama and the Democratic candidates for refusing to use the words "radical Islamic terrorism" in the wake of the Paris terror attacks.
"I find it interesting that they are willing to use the term 'ISIS,' because the 'I' in ISIS is 'Islamic,'" Carson said. "So they're not really being very consistent. But obviously, the terrorism that's growing and spreading around the world is coming from that base."
Carson said we need to encourage Muslim imams, clerics and other religious leaders to come out and condemn the radical elements of their faith.
Have moderate Muslims been too quiet in the wake of terror attacks in Paris and around the world? Sean Hannity asked.
"Absolutely," Carson said. "Somebody needs to come out and make that distinction, because we need to be able to have a way to tell who are our friends and who our friends are not."
