British daredevil James Kingston is at it again.

The 25-year-old adventurer famed for ascending structures to spectacular views is once more making headlines for his latest climb – this time of the Eiffel Tower.

“I can now officially tick the Eiffel Tower off my list,” Kingston wrote on his YouTube page yesterday.

He explained that he and a companion “started the climb at 1 a.m., narrowly avoiding the patrolling security.”

It wasn’t until they’d made it to the top – past “what seemed like endless CCTV cameras” – that they realized that’d been spotted by security, Kingston wrote.

He says he and his friend hid in “a couple of holes inside the framework,” managing to evade security for about eight hours altogether, Shepard Smith reported this afternoon.

Eventually, around 9 a.m., the two climbed down and were confronted by security, who took them to the police for questioning.

Kingston says the pair was released without any charges, though he had to promise he wouldn’t attempt the climb again for another three years.
