An eighth-grade girl is lucky to be alive after she was intentionally run over by a sedan in South Houston.

The hit-and-run was caught on cell phone video and uploaded to Twitter.

It apparently happened during a large brawl between a group of girls outside Cullen Middle School on Friday.

Dr’Breanna Hunter's mother told Fox 26 Houston that she knows exactly who was behind the wheel, and that she's working with detectives on bringing her to justice.

"You will go to jail, and you will look us in the face, and you will have to answer to a higher judge and say you didn't even stop to apologize ... You just up and left,” Aurelia Hunter said.

“I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. I don't care who did what. I wouldn't do that to a child.”

Bre's mother said she suffered many broken bones and that her liver was "split in two."

A Go Fund Me page has been set up to help with Bre’s medical expenses.
