Will Any Candidates Drop out After Announcement of FBN GOP Debate Lineups?
Fox Business Network on Thursday announced the candidate lineups for the November 10 Republican presidential debates.
The eight candidates qualifying for the 9p ET debate are: Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, John Kasich and Rand Paul.
The four candidates qualifying for the 7p ET debate are: Chris Christie, Mike Huckabee, Bobby Jindal and Rick Santorum.
The candidates who did not meet the polling requirement and will not be participating in either debate include Lindsey Graham, George Pataki and Jim Gilmore.
Rick Klein and Jackie Kucinich joined Greta Van Susteren tonight to react to the lineups.
Klein said falling to the earlier debate is a big blow for Christie and Huckabee in particular, since they had been on the primetime stage for the three previous debates.
Kucinich pointed out that other networks may be less inclined to feature ten or more candidates on the main stage after Fox Business Network cut the number to eight, putting Christie and Huckabee in an even more difficult situation.
Klein said that in the later debate, Fiorina, Kasich and Paul will need to have big nights if they want to break through in an enormously large field.
