In the wake of Sen. Harry Reid killing a vote on Kate's Law, Bill O'Reilly wondered what has happened to the Democratic Party in his Talking Points Memo tonight.

O'Reilly said that Reid blocking Kate's Law was a "disgraceful exhibition" that will go down in history as "a blight on American politics."

He added that even though Kate's Law will likely come up for a vote again, it seems certain most Democrats will not support the measure.

He said that Democrats are telling Americans that they are not concerned about the murder of Kate Steinle and many other Americans by dangerous illegal alien criminals who defy deportation.

"As Talking Points reported yesterday, Americans overwhelmingly support Kate's Law," O'Reilly said. "Think about it, who would oppose this law? Who would oppose this?"

"This is a very simple concept that would protect all Americans," O'Reilly said. "But, once again, the Democratic Party will not support Kate's Law."

"My apologies to the family of Kate Steinle. You do not deserve this."
