A new smartphone app called “Off the Record” promises to help drivers fight parking tickets.

The service connects users with attorneys to help streamline the process, Heather Childers reported on "Fox and Friends First" this morning.

At $250 per violation, this doesn’t come cheap.

But founders of the app say it will keep moving violations off your record, and stop them from affecting your insurance premiums.

Creator Chris Guirguis says he and his brother Alex came up with the idea after dealing with numerous parking tickets themselves.

“We were frustrated that there was no quick and easy way to fight the ticket,” Guirguis told King 5 News. “It was easier to pay your ticket online than to contest the ticket. Our goal is to help you get your ticket handled before you get back on the road.”
