This past week's Republican debate has been getting lots of attention in the media.

CNBC moderators received heavy criticism from pundits and politicians for asking questions that were "inaccurate or downright offensive."

But what did the public think?

Jesse Watters took to the streets to the find out, in a hilarious Watters World.

One man said moderators' questions were "extremely unsubstantive," while a few people seemed to have little awareness of who the candidates were.

At one point, a man said all of the country's illegal immigrants could stay with him, saying "there's a party at my house."
