Ten Republican presidential candidates - Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee, Chris Christie, John Kasich and Rand Paul - faced off in Boulder, Colorado, for the third GOP debate.

Cruz, when asked about raising the debt ceiling, went off on the moderators and their line of questioning.

"The questions that have been asked so far in this debate illustrate why the American people don't trust the media," Cruz said to applause.

The Texas senator pointed out that the first question compared Trump to a comic book villain, while other questions prompted candidates to attack each other or go on the defensive.

"How about talking about the substantive issues?" Cruz said, contrasting the tone of this event with that of the "fawning" Democratic debate.

"The men and women on this stage have more ideas, more experience, more common sense than every participant in the Democratic debate."

After the dust settles, Fox News Channel will have a must-see three hours of live coverage to break down the night's winners and losers. It all starts at 10pm ET with Hannity, followed by The O'Reilly Factor at 11pm and a midnight Kelly File.
