A restaurant owner in Indianapolis is giving 25 percent off to customers with concealed carry permits.

The new offer comes after Art Bouvier's restaurant, Papa Roux, was robbed last weekend by a man with a gun.

Afterwards, a customer came forward and told him that he'd been watching the situation and was ready to take action if it became life or death, but not until then.

That struck him as a very good idea.

"So I decided to open up to my customers that I will reward that sort of behavior from stable, legal, licensed citizens," Bouvier said on "Fox and Friends."

Bouvier said he hopes the promotion will ward off any would-be criminals.

"I don't want to have a situation," he said. "I want to defuse one before it is there."
