Fiery Vet-Whistleblower Furious over Hillary's Downplaying of VA 'Corruption'
On "Fox and Friends," the retired marine who blew the whistle on the Phoenix VA medical center reacted to Hillary Clinton's statement that problems with the VA are "not as widespread as it has been made out to be."
Clinton acknowledged on the "Rachel Maddow Show" on Friday that the VA had real problems, but cited a poll saying that most veterans were satisfied with the care they got.
Brandon Coleman offered to take Clinton on a personal tour of the Phoenix VA and rattled off a list of several other alleged problem centers.
"There's just an endless list," Coleman said. "Wherever she wants to meet, I'll give her a tour of that facility and they'll have similar stories to mine as to what's going on in the VA."
He said that calling it a "right wing conspiracy" is taking the easy way out.
"I'm not a Republican or a Democrat. I'm a veteran. For her to say that, it's the easy way out. There's a cancer within the VA that runs deep from top to bottom, full of corruption and whistleblower retaliation."
Coleman said that just last week Democratic leaders called for a DOJ investigation of two VA employees allegedly misusing funds.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck noted that President Obama also called VA problems "inexcusable" and "outrageous."
"It's not a right or left issue. It's an American issue," he added.
