We saw some tear-jerking video this morning on "Fox and Friends," as a man got up from his wheelchair to walk his daughter down the aisle on her wedding day.

Here's more from Associated Press:

OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine (AP) — A leukemia survivor who is losing sight in one eye and uses a wheelchair has overcome another obstacle by walking his daughter down the aisle at her wedding.

Ralph Duquette and daughter Heather had agreed he didn't have the strength to walk her down the aisle at her wedding in Maine.

But on Oct. 10, Ralph Duquette was helped out of his wheelchair in Old Orchard Beach and did just that — in front of 75 friends and relatives.

Duquette worked with physical therapists over the summer to gain the strength to walk Heather down the aisle.

Heather Duquette tells WCSH-TV her father performed the ceremony and gave her away. The two also danced together for their father-daughter dance.

The bride said that she had discussed with her father whether he would be OK to walk her down the aisle, and they agreed it would not be possible.

But Ralph crafted a plan to surprise her. The DJ was instructed to play the wrong song, which caused a delay.

With his daughter stopped at the top of the aisle, Ralph got up from his chair and took his rightful place.
