Trump: 'I've Spent the Least Money and Have the Best Poll Numbers'
Donald Trump told Neil Cavuto today that the ongoing success of his presidential campaign is a "great tribute to business."
He said he's only spent "a couple million dollars" since launching his White House bid in mid-June, including zero on advertising.
Trump said that's because the networks cover him so extensively.
The GOP front-runner added that he's not controlled by big donors, unlike most of the other presidential candidates, which voters notice and appreciate.
"It's sort of a great tribute to business," Trump said. "I've spent the least money and I have the best poll numbers."
He revealed, however, that he doesn't mind spending more money as the race goes on.
