Police in Bridgeport, Connecticut are searching for a woman who is accused of trying to abduct a teenage girl.

They've released surveillance footage showing the 17-year-old jumping out of the woman's car after she was allegedly assaulted.

The incident occurred Tuesday morning at 7:15a ET when the victim was walking to school.

The suspect, described as a Hispanic woman in her 40s with freckles and black hair, is said to have lured the teen into the gray Toyota Yaris.

The girl, who was not hurt, told police she bailed out of the vehicle after being assaulted. The suspect then made a U-turn, and is still at large.

The woman's Toyota has a missing bumper.
