An eight-foot King Cobra snake belonging to Discovery Channel's "Airplane Repo" star Mike Kennedy has been found alive after going missing more than a month ago.

Officials say a woman near Kennedy's home, which is near Orlando, contacted Orange County Animal Services on Wednesday night after she heard hissing sounds while putting clothes in the dryer in her garage.

Kennedy's wife, Valerie Kennedy, told Diana Falzone that they are very relieved, as it's been a difficult time that has taken a toll on the family.

Valerie said that the snake was found approximately a half-mile away from their home.

She said the animal was in pretty bad shape and hadn't eaten a thing since he escaped, but he's back in his enclosure safe and sound, and will hopefully make a full recovery.
