Gutfeld: 'Sick Joke' Behind Cultural Diversity Is It Enables the Worst Behavior
On "The Five" today, Greg Gutfeld reacted to Sgt. 1st Class Charles Martland, a decorated Green Beret, being discharged from the Army because he body-slammed an alleged Afghan child rapist.
According to Martland and his team leader, the Afghan police commander had been engaging in "boy play," which is basically using young boys as sex slaves.
"Kicking me out of the Army is morally wrong and the entire country knows it," Martland said in his first public statement on his case.
Gutfeld said this goes to show how multiculturalism is given importance and respect, no matter how immoral some foreign practices may be.
"It's 'arrogant' to assume that we are better," Gutfeld remarked. "See, Sgt. Martland made a value judgment, a crime in a time where all cultures are now relative. Forget progress, equality, basic human decency. We just aren't any better."
"That's the sick joke behind cultural diversity: It enables the very worst behavior, a bucket for honor killers, child rape, stoning of women - perversions of religion and power protected under a ghoulish dome of tolerance," Gutfeld said.
He explained that this is how doing the right thing becomes doing the wrong thing, the hero becomes the villain and the victim is just another casualty of an abdication of accountability.
"This happened in Afghanistan. But don't worry, it's not like it's spreading..."
