UPDATE: On the cause of the blast, the local fire chief said "everything is under investigation." He said investigators are looking into whether there was a gas leak and if so, what caused it. 

Emergency crews in Texas responded this morning to a house that was reduced to rubble by an explosion, leaving at least three people injured. 

Two victims were airlifted to a local hospital, while the other was treated at the scene in Waxahachie, which is outside Dallas.

The blast occurred at about 8am local time, according to a local report, in the Saddlebrook Estates neighborhood.

At least 10 other homes sustained damage from the explosion. Firefighters on the scene said the explosion may have been due to a gas leak.
