An Air Force veteran reunited with a little girl he saved 10 years ago during Hurricane Katrina.

Former staff Sgt. Mike Maroney met 13-year-old LeShay Brown on the set of Fox’s “The Real,” where he told the teen how much her smile and hug meant to him all those years ago.

“You rescued me more than I rescued you,” he said during the emotional reunion.

Maroney was recently on “Fox and Friends,” where he said that Brown’s hug was exactly what he needed during Katrina.

“I needed something to say, ‘Hey, it’s OK, it’s alright, you’re fine,’” he explained.

"The Real" gave both Maroney and Brown $10,000 each.
