The FBI is investigating a series of jewel heists in three states.

Authorities believe that a female suspect is responsible for three robberies in Dawsonville, Ga., Panama City Beach, Fla., and Bluffton, S.C., according to a report on "Fox and Friends First" this morning.

In all three cases, police say the armed woman zip-tied employees and made off with jewelry worth thousands of dollars.

The first robbery took place on Aug. 5 in Dawsonville, and the most recent jewel heist was on Sept. 3 in Bluffton.

Authorities are now trying to determine whether the woman is working alone.
