"Get out of your yoga pants."

That was the advice given to moms a few days ago by model-actress Molly Sims, who spoke to Today.com at a New York City fashion show.

The stunning 42-year-old mother of two was discussing post-pregnancy fitness and how she's adjusting to motherhood.

Sims welcomed a daughter five months ago, her second child in the past three years. She lost 80 pounds in the year after the birth of her son, Brooks.

Sims explained that she believes moms need to try different things to avoid getting into a "rut," advising that dressing up can make a woman feel better about herself.

"Get out of your yoga pants or sweatpants. Put on a nice pair of jeans and dress up, and you're going to feel better about yourself. I know I want to feel good," she said.

Singer-songwriter Jewel reacted on "Fox and Friends" this morning (watch below), saying she doesn't totally agree with Sims' take.

She said maybe it's not a great idea to dress down for a night out, but argued that busy moms should be allowed to be comfortable while they run errands.

What do you think of what Sims had to say?
