Dr. Phil McGraw appeared on "The Kelly File" tonight and said that the American public is "sick to death" of Washington politics and politicians.

"Everybody sells their soul to get the job," Dr. Phil explained.

He asserted that Donald Trump has been surging in the polls because he appeals to that frustration and the anger that many Americans are feeling. However, Dr. Phil said he's still waiting to hear more substance from Trump.

"There's a lot of adjectives and not many verbs," Dr. Phil said. "There's a lot of adjectives: fabulous, greatest, best. But listen for the verbs. What are we going to do? What's a policy?"
