Here's a case of texting gone wrong.

A Florida man looking to buy and sell drugs mistakenly texted the wrong number: a Martin County Sheriff's Office narcotics captain!

William Lamberson, 29, wanted a "hook up" for drugs when he began texting, thinking he was contacting his friend, according to authorities.

Lamberson continued texting his "hook up," eventually setting up a meeting for a cocaine transaction.

At the meeting, Lamberson was instead greeted by Martin County Sheriff's narcotics detectives.

He was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell.
