Jeb Bush hit back at Donald Trump this morning following the release of a new Trump Instagram ad that mocked him as boring and low-energy.

The short Trump video hones in on a woman who appeared to doze off at a Bush campaign event.

"Having trouble sleeping at night? Too much energy? Need some low energy?" the narrator asks, before cutting to a clip of Bush speaking

Wake up Jeb supporters!

The narrator ends by saying, "Jeb: for all your sleeping needs."

The former Florida governor responded on "Fox and Friends," saying Trump will not get elected president by "disparaging" others and by "attacking."

"That's not how you win. You lift people's spirits up to be President of the United States. ... This whole approach of just saying 'someone's an idiot, someone's low energy' is not gonna [work]," said Bush.

He said he's decided to fight back more in recent weeks, but that Trump is not getting under his skin. Bush said he won't let Trump "define" him with constant attacks on news programs and social media.

On the sleeping woman, Bush said she is a "big supporter" and a mother, who works a 12-hour shift, waking up at 4am each day.
