There are new developments in the unsolved murder of Dallas pediatric dentist Kendra Hatcher, who was ambushed and gunned down in the parking garage of her apartment complex last week.

Casey Stegall reported on "The Real Story" that police are investigating an ex-girlfriend of the man Hatcher was dating.

Stegall said that police haven’t yet charged the unidentified 33-year-old woman, reportedly a dental hygienist, but they have interviewed her, searched her apartment and seized a computer, according to reports.

Stegall said that police documents show that Hatcher's cell phone may have been used to track her movements.

Crystal Cortes, 23, has been arrested for allegedly driving the getaway vehicle and charged with capital murder.

Stegall reported that Cortes told authorities that she conspired with the ex-girlfriend to drive an unidentified man to rob Hatcher as she got home from work.

Cortes admitted to police she had driven the gunman to the location of the shooting, watched him exit the vehicle and shoot Hatcher, then take some items from her before they fled.
