Cruz Slams Iran Deal: 'It Is a Profound National Security Threat'
Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz reacted on "Your World" to President Obama securing enough support in Congress to push through the controversial Iran nuclear agreement.
Cruz said he's extremely disappointed because the deal will clearly accelerate Iran's timeline for acquiring nuclear weapons.
"Under the terms of this deal, we won't know until after the fact that Iran has acquired a nuclear weapon," Cruz said. "The inspections regime is on its face laughable and a farce ... It is a profound national security threat to our nation."
He said if the deal goes through, the Obama administration will become the world's leading financier of radical Islamic terror, Iran will receive billions of dollars and jidadists will use those billions to finance the murder of Americans, Israelis and other U.S. allies.
