Watch WDBJ's Heartbreaking Moment of Silence for Slain Colleagues
WDBJ7’s “Mornin’” show held a tearful moment of silence this morning to mark the tragic deaths of their two colleagues.
Anchor Kim McBroom, weatherman Leo Hirsbrunner, and guest anchor Steve Grant held hands and observed a moment of silence at 6:45 a.m. to mark the horrific moment that reporter Alison Parker and cameraman Adam Ward were gunned down on live television yesterday.

McBroom thanked viewers for their support during this difficult time for the Virginia news station.
“We will with time and the blessings of our many friends out there – all of you – we will heal from this,” she said.
WDBJ7 wrote on Facebook, “Please take a moment today to pause and reflect to remember Alison Parker and Adam Ward. Gone, but never forgotten.”
