Family members of the three American heroes who foiled a terror attack on a high-speed train in France are speaking out.

Emmanuel Skarlatos, the father of Alek Skarlatos, and Arissa Sadler, the sister of Anthony Sadler, went "On The Record" tonight with Greta Van Susteren.

Skarlatos said he is extremely proud of his son, Anthony and the third hero, Spencer Stone, and he is honored to be Alek's father.

"They committed a selfless act of bravery that I am in awe of," Skarlatos said. "The French, I'm sure, feel blessed that our boys were there and took care of business in a time of need."

Arissa told Greta that she is amazed by her brother's courageous actions.

She explained that the three young men have been friends since middle school.

"This trip was just another of their adventures together," Arissa said, adding that she thinks Anthony's life will be vastly different moving forward.

"I think it's 'rest in peace' to the life that he used to have. And I think it's time to embrace what life is going to be at this point."
