Touching tribute or creepy stunt?

That's the debate going on right now over a new photoshopped image of Princess Diana staring lovingly at Princess Charlotte at the newborn's Christening.

The photo of the Duchess of Cambridge with her husband's late mother has been shared hundreds of thousands of times on Facebook in recent weeks.

The original photo of Diana - taken in 1997 alongside Mother Teresa - was blended with a photo of Kate and Charlotte from the July ceremony at St. Magdalene Church in Sandringham.

Out of the many comments on the photo, most were positive, with people praising the image as "beautiful" and a "lovely sentiment."

The picture was reportedly first shared by a Milwaukee woman named Mary Kohnke, who wrote, "What a great job at photoshopping ... Let's make this go viral!"

It's unclear who actually produced the now-viral image.
