The Lash family had just returned home from vacation when a group of teens came to the door and asked to borrow a jack for their car, then tried to force their way into the home.

They shot Michael Lash twice in the legs, then fired at his wife Whitney and their 6-month-old daughter, but missed. Their 2-year-old son, who was sleeping upstairs, wasn’t hurt. Michael Lash underwent surgery and will be OK.

Whitney Lash can be heard screaming on the horrifying 911 call as shots rang out.

“Not the baby, not the baby,” she repeatedly begged.

The four suspects are still at large. Authorities have released a sketch of one of the suspects, who has a stud piercing between his eyes.

Surveillance footage from a nearby business caught the suspects walking near the home shortly before the attack.
