A military family recently reunited with the beloved dog that they thought was dead.

Ben and Melody Harworth say they left their dog, Zeus, with a North Carolina family back in 2011 when they were transferred from Fort Bragg to South Korea. Then, in 2012, they were told that Zeus had died.

Three years later, the Harworths got a call at their home in Washington. They learned that Zeus had been found wandering along the side of the road in North Carolina, and he was taken to Banfield Pet Hospital.

The dog was suffering from heart worms and unable to fly, so Banfield Pet Hospital practice manager Rachel Overby drove Zeus 3,000 miles to his family for an amazing reunion.
