Viral WATCH: Little Boy Bursts Into Tears at Reporter's Question
A little boy just could not handle the unintentionally tough questions of one L.A. reporter.
KTLA's Courtney Friel was outside an L.A. elementary school as kids got ready for their first day.
One four-year-old, Andrew Macias, was about to go inside when Friel asked him whether he was excited about starting pre-kindergarten.
"Yes," he answered.
Friel then asked Andrew if he would miss his mother, who was standing off-camera.
"No," he said ... but then he gave it a second of thought. And he lost it.
Andrew's mom was there to give him a big hug and reassure him before his big day.
Courtney, formerly of Fox News and a mother of two herself, later said she felt "awful" about what happened.
For the second day in a row I'm on "back to school" coverage- and I just made a pre-K kid cry- I feel awful about that! @KTLA 1,3,6pm
