Outrageous UPDATE: TN Courts Reverse Ban on 'Mother' and 'Father' on Forms
UPDATE: Tennessee courts have reversed the controversial decision, FoxNews.com reported.

Children in Tennessee will now have "Parent 1" and "Parent 2" instead of a mother and a father, according to Tennessee’s Administrative Office of the Courts.
In the wake of the Supreme Court's ruling on same-sex marriage, the office revised its documents, replacing the words "mother" and "father" with the terms "Parent 1” and “Parent 2.”
Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, said we should brace ourselves for more of this "politically correct foolishness" following the Supreme Court redefining marriage.
"They feel like they have to redefine parenthood to shore up this decision," Perkins asserted. "This really is politically correct absurdity. There's no other way to describe it."
He added that there's significance in children having a mother and a father, and he wondered where this decision will lead.
"This will bleed over into education. It will bleed over into every other aspect of life," Perkins said. "This is really a denial of nature."
