A San Francisco meteorologist got a brief scare when the studio shook during his live forecast this morning.

Steve Paulson of Fox's KTVU-TV jumped a bit when the 4.0-magnitude earthquake hit at about 7am local time.

The quake caused delays for commuters, but no serious damage or injuries were reported.

At the end of her forecast on "The Real Story," Janice Dean was asked what she would do if an earthquake ever struck while she was on the air.

Let's just say it would not be rated PG...

"I just learned in our control room we have something called a Profanity Delay Control button and I would be testing that if an earthquake happened here," she joked.
