Red Bull Air Force set an epic new world record when 164 skydivers jumped out of seven planes to complete a hand-in-hand group formation over Chicago.

Professional skydiver and Red Bull Air Force Manager Jon Devore was on “America’s Newsroom” to discuss the record-setting jump.

He said that the participants were all avid skydivers, explaining that time in the air and muscle memory are necessary for such a stunt.

“Building a formation’s like building a puzzle, and you don’t exactly know where all the pieces go yet,” he said.

Red Bull hopes to complete a 200-person jump one day.
