Lt. Col. Ralph Peters today sounded off on a Sky News report that reveals that jihadists are planning to attack Saturday's V-J Day commemorations in England.

Sky News reported that the plot includes pressure cooker bombs similar to the ones used in the Boston Marathon attack.

Authorities are now working to unravel the plot ahead of the commemoration ceremonies, which the Queen of England is expected to attend.

Peters said that symbolic events are ideal targets for ISIS, and he said that the terror group has grown quicker than any tech startup.

“They’ve spread quicker on a global basis than Facebook or Twitter did,” he said.

He also blasted President Barack Obama’s “disengagement and neglect,” and he said that America’s next president must stand behind our troops, not protect our enemies.
