Trump: I Spoke to Bill Clinton 'Long After' Deciding to Run for President
Donald Trump pushed back this morning against reports that he spoke to Bill Clinton before he decided to run for president.
The real estate magnate and 2016 contender said that he talked to Clinton "long after" he decided to run for president.
“He’s not happy that I’m running because nobody has hit Hillary harder than I have,” Trump said.
Trump also told the hosts of “Fox and Friends” that he will be Hillary Clinton’s worst nightmare.
Trump had a few things to say about his fellow candidates, too. He said that he was impressed with Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and called former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush a terrific guy, but he slammed Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, who clashed with him during last night’s debate.
“I think he’s actually a better doctor than he is a senator, if you want to know the truth,” Trump said.
Trump added that he would have bumped Paul from the prime-time debate and brought up Carly Fiorina from the 5 p.m. debate.
“I think she was a very effective debater,” he said.
