FBI: Middle Eastern Men Intimidated U.S. Military Families at Their Homes
The FBI has issued a disturbing new warning for military families in California and Wyoming.
The bulletin, sent to law enforcement in California and Wyoming back in July, says there have been several accounts of Middle Eastern men intimidating military families in both states.
A senior government official says that the men approached family members of military personnel – sometimes at their homes – and questioned them about their loved ones’ roles in the military.
In one case, the bulletin said two Middle Eastern men approached a military wife and told her that her spouse was an interrogator. When she denied the claim, the men allegedly laughed and then left in a dark, four-door sedan with two other Middle Eastern men. According to the alert, the military wife had seen the vehicle in her neighborhood before.
It's unclear whether the cases in both California and Wyoming involved the same men, whom authorities have yet to identify.
