Elisabeth Hasselbeck expressed support today for her close friend Sherri Shepherd to rejoin ABC's "The View."

The "Fox and Friends" co-host said on "Kilmeade & Friends" that the biggest mistake the show ever made was letting Shepherd go in the first place.

The talk show's lineup has shuffled a lot over recent years, but now media reports are linking Shepherd with a possible return as a contributor.

"If The View knows anything about what's good for them, they would keep Sherri Shepherd there for as long as possible. The biggest mistake that they made was letting Sherri Shepherd go," she said.

Hasselbeck described Shepherd as "funny as all heck" and said she has a unique talent for "making the ordinary extraordinarily interesting."
