Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee appeared on "The Five" today to defend his criticism of President Obama's nuclear deal with Iran.

The former Arkansas governor invoked the Holocaust this weekend to argue that the agreement is dangerous for Israel's security, remarks that Obama today called "ridiculous."

Huckabee refused to back down from his comments and pointed out that Iran has refused to recognize Israel's right to exist, even using inflammatory rhetoric like "Holocaust."

"When people in a government position continue to say they're going to kill you, I think somebody ought to wake up and take that seriously," Huckabee said.

"If we don't take seriously the threats of Iran, then God help us all."
