Iran's supreme religious leader has apparently tweeted a silhouette image of President Barack Obama putting a handgun to his own head.

Ayatollah Khamenei reportedly sent the tweet in response to the president saying the United States could still use military force if the nuclear deal fails with Tehran, Fox News reported.

“US president has said he could knock out Iran’s military. We welcome no war, nor do we initiate any war, but ...” reads the tweet Saturday that appears to come from a legitimate Khamenei account.

On "Fox and Friends Weekend" today, Lt. Col. Allen West explained to Tucker Carlson that the tweets are "mocking" America.

"This is all about the psychological warfare of mocking the United States of America, mocking President Obama, and then of course embarrassing our country," West stated.

He added that Iran is going to immediately become an "economic power" and a "military power" because of this agreement.

West asserted that the nuclear deal with Iran should have never happened.
