'A Once-in-a-Lifetime Gal': Family Mourns Movie Theater Shooting Victim
The husband of a Louisiana movie theater shooting victim remembered his wife in a touching tribute on Facebook.
Jillian Johnson, 33, was gunned down at a Lafayette movie theater last night during a showing of “Trainwreck.” Mayci Breaux, 21, was also killed.
“Our hearts are shattered,” Johnson’s husband wrote on the Facebook page for their business, Red Arrow Workshop. “We will love you forever.”
The post describes Johnson as an artist, musician, entrepreneur, true Renaissance woman, a mother, an exceptional wife, and "a once-in-a-lifetime gal."
“She was the love of my life and I will miss her always,” the post says.
The Facebook post also reveals that Johnson’s best friend was with her at the time of the shooting.
This was a senseless act and, as is the case with all such acts, there is no playbook, no rules on how to cope,” the post reads.
