GOOD NEWS PHOTO: Black Cop Helps White Supremacist Suffering from Heat at KKK Rally
Here's an amazing photograph that will restore your faith in humanity.
A black law enforcement officer rushed to the aid of a protester at a Ku Klux Klan rally at the South Carolina Statehouse on Saturday.
A photo shows Leroy Smith, who is a black man and the state’s director of public safety, helping an unidentified protester who was showing signs of heat exhaustion during the Confederate flag rally.
The older man is pictured wearing a National Socialist Movement T-shirt bearing a swastika.
Rob Godfrey, deputy chief of staff to South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, tweeted the photo with the caption, "Not an uncommon example of humanity in SC: Leroy Smith helps white supremacist to shelter & water as heat bears down."
The incredible photo has since been retweeted more than 5,000 times.
