Here's a marriage proposal that will "mow" you away!

A Texas farmer proposed to his girlfriend of six years in a very fitting way: He mowed "Marry Me" into the field where he works.

The newly-engaged couple, Ruston Smith and Kobi Sliva, appeared on "Fox and Friends Weekend" today to share how this unique proposal came about.

Smith explained that he had several ideas for how he would pop the question, but decided to do something special for his longtime girlfriend.

"I kinda thought, 'Well, this field's got to get mowed,'" Smith joked.

He revealed that he has a friend who's a pilot who flew him and Sliva over the field last Saturday.

Sliva, a Texas A&M University student, said that she had no idea that the proposal was coming.

She immediately said “yes” when she saw the field.
