The Navy’s Blue Angels zoomed so close to a Florida beach that one of the planes sent umbrellas and tents flying through the air.

Video posted to YouTube shows Angel no. 5 flying over a Pensacola beach at a low enough altitude that it uprooted beach gear from the sand.

Beachgoers laughed, applauded and cheered at the stunt’s effect. No one was hurt in the July 11 flyover.

KTLA reported:

The Blue Angels, the U.S. Navy’s 16-officer flight demonstration squadron, are next due for a Southern California performance on Sept. 26 and 27, according to their online calendar. They’ll appear at the Naval Air Base Ventura County Air Show.

The squadron is based in Pensacola and practices there throughout the year.
