Charles Krauthammer said on "Special Report" tonight that the nuclear agreement with Iran was a "huge success" for the Islamic republic.

He explained that the only thing that is certain to come from the deal is the death of the international sanctions regime that held Iran in check.

"Obama will now go to the [UN] Security Council, making almost totally irrelevant what Congress does," Krauthammer said. "They're going to go within days to the UN. They're going to pass a resolution. [It will] probably be unanimous."

Krauthammer noted that part of the new resolution will be to cancel all previous resolutions that imposed sanctions and declared the illegality of the Iranian nuclear program.

Krauthammer also said that inspections of Iranian nuclear sites, which must come with a 24-day notice, have no chance of working.

"We know one thing. The sanctions are done. Iran is now free. They will not be re-imposed. And that is a huge success for Iran."
