Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) appeared on "Fox and Friends" today and slammed the agreement on Iran's nuclear program, saying it could be a "death sentence" for Israel.

"What the president has done, he's taken the world's most destabilizing power, one of our chief antagonists, a country that's killed hundreds of Americans in Iraq, and he's guaranteed that they're going to become a nuclear nation," Graham said. "Instead of dismantling their nuclear program, this deal locks in their nuclear program."

The 2016 presidential candidate said that every Sunni Arab nation will now see Iran obtaining a nuclear weapon as an inevitable outcome, which could spark a nuclear arms race in the Middle East.

"This could be a death sentence for the state of Israel," Graham said. "You've given Israel's chief antagonist, the people who hate Israel the most, the capability to develop a nuclear weapon. You've put Israel in a box, and every element of Israeli political life rejects this deal."
