Greg Gutfeld reacted on "The Five" to a disturbing New York Post photo that shows a transient urinating in the middle of a busy New York City street.

Gutfeld said that the Post is being hammered for the photo. He asked if they hadn't done the homelessness story, who would have?

"Consider that a bill decriminalizing such acts is on the table here. If we didn't have a tabloid keeping tabs on our idiot politicians, the city would become an outhouse," Gutfeld stated. "For [New York City Mayor] Bill de Blasio, one Post headline may be the only thing that scares him."

Gutfeld noted that there are more homeless people in New York City now than any time since the Great Depression. He pointed out that the left blames homelessness on the cost of housing.

"That logic assumes that if monthly rents were to drop, a sick man would suddenly be renovating a midtown flat," Gutfeld said. "The rents are high because New York is safer, thanks to Giuliani and Bloomberg. But maybe de Blasio wants to change that."
