O'Reilly: 'Damn Shame' That Tougher Immigration Laws Not Supported by All Americans
In his Talking Points Memo tonight, Bill O'Reilly said it's a terrible shame that all Americans cannot unite and support tough measures against criminal illegal immigrants, measures that would prevent tragic deaths like that of Kate Steinle.
"The sanctuary city policy is supported by people who believe that poor illegal immigrants should not be held accountable for violating U.S. immigration law," O'Reilly said.
"The Factor" host explained that these people, by trying to be compassionate to those who want better lives, ignore the danger of an unsecured border.
O'Reilly noted that the alleged killer of Kate Steinle, Francisco Sanchez, illegally crossed the border six times.
"It is insulting when pro-sanctuary city people equate poor immigrants with violent criminals," O'Reilly said.
He called out the San Francisco city supervisors who are unrepentant over Steinle's death and the compliant mainstream media that has aided them.
"It's a damn shame that all Americans cannot support a policy that would protect people like Kate Steinle," O'Reilly stated. "If you saw the heartbreaking interview with her parents last night, how could you not support tough measures against criminal illegal aliens?"
