HSBC Fires UK Employees for Mock ISIS Execution Video
HSBC says it has fired its UK employees who staged a mock ISIS execution, then posted the video online.
The video, first obtained by The Sun, showed five HSBC staff members in black jumpsuits pretending to behead a sixth employee in an orange jumpsuit. They used a coat hanger as a knife, and one man yelled “Allahu Akbar."
The outrageous video was filmed during a team-building exercise in Birmingham.
The mock execution was posted on Instagram and then removed.
HSBC apologized and said in a statement that the company has fired the employees who were involved in the “abhorrent" video.
Once we saw this abhorrent video released by @TheSun we took the decision to sack the individuals involved. We apologise for any offence.
