A Texas grandmother survived for two days trapped in her crashed car by drinking dirty water and Sprite.

75-year-old Wanda Mobley was driving to attend her family reunion in McAlester, Oklahoma from her home in Brownwood, Texas.

About halfway into her 340-mile road trip, Mobley swerved her car to avoid hitting an animal on Highway 183 and crashed into a ravine.

She was unable to walk and didn't have any cell phone service in the rural area to call 911 for help.

When Mobley's silver Chevy crashed, the three Sprites she brought along for the road trip flew to the front of the car.

While waiting for help to arrive, she drank the three Sprites. She also used a T-shirt to soak up the dirty water flowing near her car, so that she could drink more fluids.

Her family grew worried when she didn't arrive to the reunion and began to search for her.

They used the last pinged location from her cell phone and tracked her to a ravine in Seymour, Texas.

Mobley was transported to a hospital, where she is recovering from a fractured lower back.
