7 Pythons Stolen from Ohio Reptile Rescue
Seven pythons have been stolen from an Ohio reptile rescue.
Akron Rattery and Reptile Rescue CEO Robin Everley said that someone cut a hole in the wall of a building next door to break in, then made off with the seven snakes.
The seven pythons are all under 6 months old and are worth a combined $6,000. Everley said that she’s worried about the snakes’ health, noting that one is pregnant and another has burns.
The reptile rescue takes animals that have been confiscated in police raids and readies them for adoption.
Officials say anyone can return the snakes, no questions asked.
